Welcome to BusinessCloud’s FactoryTech 50 ranking for 2024.

Partful tops the annual ranking of UK companies creating original technology for use in manufacturing, heavy industry, batteries and materials.

Following the creation of an 89-strong shortlist, the final ranking was decided by a combination of selections from an expert judging panel (see below) and a public vote among readers of BusinessCloud. The ranking is supported by digital transformation experts Sputnik Digital.

We also gathered views from the top 50 and judges to quantify and reflect technology trends in manufacturing. The 2024 FactoryTech Insights report considers adoption in smart factories, impact of artificial intelligence, the rise of reshoring as manufacturing returns to the UK and challenges around funding and recruitment.
