BusinessCloud can reveal its RetailTech 50 innovation ranking for 2025.
Readers of the online technology publication and an expert judging panel have together decided the 50 companies blazing a technology trail in retail.
The RetailTech 50 celebrates businesses of all sizes creating original tech solutions for physical retail and eCommerce.
Topping this year’s ranking is Snappy Shopper, an online platform that delivers groceries, alcohol, snacks and household goods from local convenience stores.
In second spot is cashback marketplace Onbuy.com, followed by HubBox, which has developed ‘pickup at checkout’ software to make it easy for any retailer to offer local pickup at their online checkout.
THG Ingenuity – a technology platform recently demerged from listed eCommerce firm THG and now run as a private company – is fourth ahead of Patchworks, an integration platform for fast-growing retail.
Also featuring in 2025 are:
Emperia: a commerce-driven solution which empowers creators, studios and enterprises to build and deploy cross-device virtual worlds.
Proximity: a clienteling platform helping retailers to sell more and build loyalty through real-time data, personalised experiences and seamless management of appointments, events and transactions.
Vortex IQ: a firm which leads the eCommerce industry with its pioneering Agentic Framework, transforming AI-powered insights into automated actions.
ZigZag Global: a SaaS platform that helps retailers manage and resell returned stock in local markets.
Symphony Commerce: which specialises in the design and orchestration of advanced digital commerce ecosystems catering to the complex requirements of global B2B businesses.
SnapDragon: your brand’s personal bodyguard. Defending brands online with AI-driven software and expert support. It monitors, detects, enforces, and investigates across global platforms to protect your Intellectual Property.

BusinessCloud called on its readers to vote for companies from the 99-strong shortlist. A combination of these votes and choices from an expert judging panel determined the top 50.
