Percayso Inform has signed a new partnership with Got You Covered to deliver enhanced data enrichment capabilities for the fast growing niche motor and personal lines insurance broker.

GYC is a specialist in the non-standard motor and household markets, with a particular specialism in support for customers who find it difficult to access or afford insurance. These include drivers considered as high risk such as those with previous drink driving convictions or bans, and those with unoccupied property or homes with unusual construction properties.

Percayso Inform – third on our InsurTech 50 ranking late last year – will provide both its vehicle data to support GYC’s underwriting decisions and pricing strategies at point of quote across its motor portfolio, and will also be providing household data to help improve the customer journey and deliver more accurate pricing.

“We’ve invested heavily in developing our technology and data science capabilities to compete effectively and grow our market share,” said Got You Covered managing director Sean Byrne.

“We recognise the importance of continuing to build these capabilities, in particular enriching our data and predictive modelling to optimise our pricing strategies.

“Percayso’s intelligence solutions are simply the best available in the market to help us with our ambitious growth strategy, while their distribution reach and relationships with software houses will reinforce our own partnerships with them.

“They’re a professional team with a reputation of working hand in hand with their clients to help them further their businesses. I couldn’t be happier to have partnered with them.”

In addition, this new partnership will allow GYC to access data predicting consumer behaviour, enabling the business to identify those policyholders more likely to cancel mid-term and better determine terms offered or decline the risk.

“Sean and his team are looking to grow their business on all fronts and we’re delighted to be able to support them as they seek to optimise pricing across their various books in order to achieve their business goals,” said David Kelly, commercial director at Percayso Inform.

“They’re an exciting, dynamic business and we’re looking forward to supporting them over the coming months.”
