An inventor and angling enthusiast is third to enter the Dragons’ Den tonight.
Rite Tackle was founded by British match angler and inventor John Jones.
The startup is dedicated to manufacturing innovative, intuitive fishing products that solve the everyday challenges anglers face.
“Having fished all my life and having a engineering background I have always made items of tackle – normally driven by looking for solutions to problems or looking to improve on what was currently available,” said John.
“I have enjoyed watching the revolution of products that have been manufactured to ensure huge bags of fish are caught from the numerous purpose-built commercial fisheries across the country.
“All of these products focus on catching fish – but not on what happens when it’s in the net.”
Rite Tackle provides practical bankside innovations for anglers, highlighted by the Rite Weigh scale integrated into a landing net handle and the floating Rite-Count mechanical counter for match limits.
Additional gear includes Squaddies foam attachments for pole stability, Super Rooster and Omni Tube rod rests, and the heavy-duty Premium Tackle Transporter trolley.

Episode 13 of series 23 sees the return of guest judge Jenna Meek alongside regular Dragons Peter Jones, Touker Suleyman, Deborah Meaden and Steven Bartlett.
