Luxury cruise retailer Panache Cruises has made three new appointments as it continues to scale.

Headquartered in Chorley, the company was founded by James Cole in 2020 and has grown to more than 100 staff, with international offices in the US and Australia.

Panache recently made a six-figure investment in Chester-based Vedere Travel as part of a wider strategy to expand into other areas of the travel industry.

As part of its continued growth, Alyson Page has joined as financial controller, Ben Houghton has been appointed data analyst and Jade Hegarty is the new sales training and development manager.

CEO James Cole, who was included in BusinessCloud’s 2026 Northern Leaders, said: “These appointments reflect where we are as a business. As we scale, we need specialists.

‘We had 10 customers. I expected 10,000. What a plonker!’

“Alyson is a very experienced financial controller who has been brought in to perform a specific role in our finance team.

“Ben will be looking at our data analytics, creating new KPIs and management information.”

Hegarty previously worked at Althams Travel and as a tourism management lecturer at Runshaw College.

She has just spent two weeks in the US onboarding staff.

Cole, who also made BusinessCloud’s Founder 250 list, added: “She’s exceptionally motivated and skilled. As we continue to scale the business, we’re looking for experts in their area and Jade absolutely ticks that box.”

Page said: “I love the people and the culture. Panache Cruises is an exciting business and I’m really happy to be part of the journey.”

Houghton is a graduate of Loughborough University and said: “A business like Panache Cruises, with offices around the world, generates a lot of data. My job is to help the management team make more informed decisions from the data.”
