BusinessCloud can reveal its RetailTech 50 innovation ranking for 2026.
Readers of the online technology publication and an expert judging panel have together decided the 50 companies blazing a technology trail in retail.
The RetailTech 50 celebrates businesses of all sizes creating original tech solutions for physical retail and eCommerce.
Topping this year’s ranking is Pimberly, described as the most powerful Product Information Management (PIM) platform on the planet – a centralised hub that enables its clients to create a vital golden record for all product information.
In second and third spot are VoCoVo, creator of software to improve customer service and business intelligence, and ZigZag Global, a platform to manage the process of product returns.
Fourth is Zyntrix, an open banking platform unifying payments, loyalty and digital ID to help retailers reduce transaction fees and keep value inside their ecosystem.
Behind Birl, in sixth position, is Leasing.com. The UK’s original leasing comparison platform, it helps drivers to find the best deals, or check their current finance products with its new QuoteBeater tech.
In eight spot, behind Dee Set, is HubBox, a leading out-of-home (OOH) delivery platform that helps retailers offer flexible pickup options at checkout. It partners with major carriers such as UPS, DPD, and Royal Mail, enabling integration across eCommerce systems.
Also featuring in 2026 are OnBuy.com, the British-born online marketplace that offers choice, top brands and instantly redeemable cashback on everything purchased; fulfilmentcrowd, which helps high-growth omnichannel brands to grow internationally via fulfilment centres located across the UK, European Union, US and Australia; and SnapDragon a ‘digital bodyguard’ defending brands’ intellectual property online.
