‘Big Four’ company EY has appointed Julie Linn Teigland as global vice chair – alliances and ecosystems to lead the growth of strategic alliances.
Teigland’s role will also entail expanding the EY ecosystem and developing new collaborations with established and emerging market players.
She brings more than 30 years of proven experience in professional services and has been area managing partner for EY Europe, Middle East, India and Africa (EMEIA) for the last six years.
The professional services giant says she has been a driving force behind the geographic area’s revenue growth to $22bn.
Teigland also sits on several boards across Europe and the US and joined the EY organisation in 2001.
“Heightened focus and investments in our strategic relationships will be critical for the EY organisation to grow and maximize the potential of our ecosystem, enabling innovation, market expansion and scalable growth,” said Raj Sharma, EY global managing partner – growth & innovation.
“As Julie steps into this new global role, she brings an outstanding mix of market knowledge, business acumen and vision.”
Tiegland added: “An ecosystem of strategic alliances is critical to driving innovation, scaling knowledge, and delivering solutions with greater speed and impact.
“In an ever-changing landscape, alliances help ensure that the EY organization will continue to create new value for clients.
“I look forward to accelerating collaboration with our existing and new strategic collaborators around the globe as we help EY clients in their transformation journeys – together.”
