Richard Stark has left KPMG after more than 20 years, most recently as a corporate finance partner.
Stark hasn’t officially revealed his new role, but he’s confirmed he’ll ‘continue to do the job I love’ in the North West.
He said: “I will be forever grateful for the opportunities and experiences provided to me over what’s been an immensely rewarding period.
“To the many amazing KPMG team members and clients I’ve met along the way – a heartfelt thank you. It’s been a genuine privilege working alongside you.”
Former KPMG colleague Chris Stott said: “One chapter ends and another begins. Thank you for everything you have done for us Rick. Best of luck with the next chapter. I am sure you will smash it.”
Jonathan Boyers, head of corporate finance for EMEA at Alvarez & Marsal, said: “Congratulations on a brilliant career with KPMG Rick. You’ve been a critical part of everything that team at KPMG achieved over the last couple of decades.
“Your integrity and values have always shone through. It was a pleasure working with you for so many years and also to see you develop into such an accomplished advisor.
“I’m looking forward to seeing the next stage of your career where I know you’ll go from strength to strength. You’ve got so much still to give to the North West corporate finance community.”
In separate news, Sophie Andran has been promoted to KPMG UK’s tech M&A team.
