CTS appoints industry heavyweight

Technology

Manchester-based Cloud Technology Solutions has appointed a new chief sales officer as the company continues to experience strong growth.

Paul Glover has joined the cloud and machine learning specialist, bringing with him a vast wealth of experience following senior sales roles at Google and Microsoft.

He enjoys a stellar reputation for implementing transformative digital technology to leading brands, including ASOS, Heathrow, The Met Police, Vanquis Bank, NBrown, Morrison’s, Bede, The Hut Group and JD Sports.

“My new role at CTS has come at a really exciting time, with more and more businesses looking to unlock the potential of cloud technology, machine learning and AI. There is a growing recognition that this technology can help businesses turn around their fortunes,” said Glover.

“I can’t wait to get started, working as part of a hugely talented team to help both our existing and prospective clients realise the benefits of digital transformation. Operating at the cutting edge of technology and helping develop talented teams is my passion. I couldn’t think of a better company to be at right now to fulfil those ambitions and I’m looking forward to helping everyone at CTS succeed.”

James Doggart, CEO of CTS, said: “We are dedicated to be recruiting the best talent to the CTS team and Paul’s vast experience makes him a valuable addition. His previous experience will prove invaluable as we look to extend our offering across the industry sectors where cloud technology, and especially machine learning, can have a truly transformative impact.

“We are looking forward to an exciting future as we continue to innovate and grow. The addition of Paul, combined with our recent merger with machine learning and data science specialist Qlouder, are key components of our growth strategy. We’re dedicated to bringing cutting-edge technology to help businesses grow and we’re now even better placed to do exactly that.”

Glover’s appointment follows the employment of 12 graduates in January as part of CTS’ investment in cloud infrastructure, data science and machine learning.

CTS employs more than 170 people in offices in Manchester, London, Belfast, Edinburgh, Maarssen and Frankfurt, as well as across its globally remote workforce.

Clients include Netflix, Spotify, Homeserve, Manchester City Council, Roadchef and the RSPCA.
