The cohort for this year’s Video Games Growth Programme has been unveiled by non-profit Ukie and Tencent Games.
Alongside the 30 promising industry founders and leaders, they said the programme has added the Department for Business and Trade as a partner.
Ukie is a not-for-profit trade body that represents the UK games and interactive entertainment industry, representing over 650 businesses working across the UK, including game developers, publishers, platforms and service providers.
The 2024 Video Games Growth Programme will offer two tailored pathways: an accelerator track for emerging companies and a scale-up track for high-growth-potential businesses.
These programmes provide a comprehensive curriculum covering essential topics such as business strategy, access to funding, management, international market expansion and more.

Ukie and DBT have worked in partnership on trade missions, including GDC and gamescom, over the past decade. They said their partnership has generated over £90 million in business deals for UK companies in the previous 12 months.
