Green Man Gaming (GMG) has unveiled a new charity bundles platform as part of its broader push into the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region and has appointed ex-Humble Bundle vice president, Paul Herron, to lead the initiative.
Herron helped to grow Humble Bundle into a multi-million-dollar business known for combining commercial success with charitable impact.
The new platform aims to give publishers a fresh way to extend the commercial life of older or underexposed titles, while offering players curated game bundles at discounted prices. A portion of all proceeds will go to charity.
According to London-based GMG, the format provides a “win-win”, offering gamers value, publishers extra revenue and charities vital support.
“I am delighted to welcome Paul Herron to the team as we enter the next phase of Green Man Gaming’s growth,” said Paul Sulyok, CEO and founder of GMG.
“Charity bundles are a win-win for publishers and developers, giving them the tools to secure incremental revenue from their products.
“With Paul’s outstanding knowledge, this new platform will unlock fresh revenue streams for our partners, help games find new life, and deliver meaningful impact at a time when the industry needs it.
“Just as importantly, it gives our consumers and partners the ability to support the charities that matter most to them.”

Joining GMG as general manager, Herron brings over a decade of experience in building international business partnerships and charitable campaigns.
During his time at Humble Bundle, the platform raised more than $200m for charity.
At GMG, he will lead the development of the bundles platform and help developers and publishers in APAC expand into Western markets.
He added: “It is great to be joining the Green Man Gaming team and spearheading the Bundles launch and also our expansion into the APAC regions.
“Charity bundles offer amazing, curated content for consumers, as well as the opportunity for many great games to break through the noise of thousands of new titles that are launched every year.
“They also empower developers and publishers to support causes they care about most, whether that is a local initiative, a global charity, or an issue close to their team or community.
“I am excited to showcase what we have been working on and how Green Man Gaming will provide value across the whole lifecycle of a game.”
