Robotics and automation specialist Sewtec has appointed a new project director to support its plans to reach £32 million turnover in five years.
Ian Walch, who has more than 15 years’ experience in project management, was most recently operations director at Bristol-based advanced engineering company Stirling Dynamics.
West Yorkshire-based Sewtec, which designs and manufactures systems for global blue-chip clients in the food pharmaceutical, personal care and tobacco industries, completed a series of senior hires which concludes with Walch’s appointment.
