Social entertainment powerhouse LBG Media plc, the publisher of LADbible, has appointed The Twenty Minute VC host, Harry Stebbings, as a non-executive director.
Stebbings, who founded and is the managing partner of Twenty VC LLP, was joined by LADbible CEO and Northern Leader Solly Solomou only months ago on his podcast.
He is an investor and media entrepreneur and manages a portfolio backed by $400m in committed capital, investing in more than nine unicorns, including Perplexity, Lovable and Tripledot Games.
His podcast, the Twenty Minute VC, is the world’s largest media asset in venture capital, with over 500,000 subscribers across 113 countries.
He has hosted podcasts with high profile guests like Solomou, as well as Spotify’s Daniel Ek and LinkedIn’s Reid Hoffman.
Before 20VC, Stebbings founded Stride.VC, a seed fund, with Fred Destin, where he sat on multiple boards, including SEDNA Systems, Forward Health and Cord.
He joins the media giant, which currently has a market cap of £190.2m.
Stebbings’ appointment follows the arrival of SPORF founder Nick Speakman as director of social, but, despite the high profile onboardings the firm’s share price has dropped from 134p to 90.97p in the last 12 months.
Solomou recently shared his his story of growing the brand from a small office space in Leeds to a global powerhouse generating 10bn views per month on The Twenty Minute VC podcast.
