Revolut has become the latest FinTech giant to tap OpenAI’s technology as it steps up its defences against financial crime.
The digital bank is partnering with the ChatGPT creator to strengthen both its fraud-monitoring tools and customer support.
It follows a growing wave of banks adopting advanced AI models to spot suspicious activity faster and improve service at scale.
The London Stock Exchange Group has also today announced a partnership with the AI firm to integrate its financial data and analytics into ChatGPT.
Under the arrangement, LSEG will grant access to news content and financial market data licensed through its products, including Workspace and Financial Analytics, for ChatGPT users and enterprise customers.
LSEG said the content will be delivered through a Model Context Protocol (MCP) connector, with a phased roll-out beginning with its Financial Analytics service and more data categories added over time.

The MCP standard is designed to let AI models plug into external data sources and tools securely, so users can query trusted datasets inside ChatGPT rather than switching between platforms.
The connector is expected to go live in ChatGPT from the week of 8th December.
Alongside the product integration, ChatGPT Enterprise will be made available to an initial 4,000 LSEG employees.
The firm said it will work with OpenAI’s technical teams to support adoption of the latest frontier models across internal workflows.
“LSEG’s market data and analytics power decisions across global finance,” said OpenAI chief revenue officer, Ashley Kramer.
“Integrating that strength into ChatGPT makes it even easier for customers to ask complex questions and move quickly with confidence.
“We’re proud to support LSEG as they bring richer insights to their clients and equip their own teams with more efficient, AI-driven workflows.”
