BusinessCloud can reveal its RetailTech 50 innovation ranking for 2023.

Readers of the online technology publication and an independent judging panel have together decided the 50 companies blazing a technology trail in retail.

The RetailTech 50 – supported by digital transformation experts Sputnik Digital – celebrates businesses of all sizes creating original tech solutions for physical retail and eCommerce companies.

Dexory, a London company which harnesses AI & robotics for a more efficient warehouse, tops the ranking.

In second spot is Leeds-based Hyperfinity, which enables unified, customer and product data-led decision intelligence for retailers and brands. Connecting the dots between customers, products and click data, its platform can connect to data warehouses, databases, cloud storage or Google Analytics.

In fifth – behind Emperia (London) and Sook (Cambridge) – is Advanced Commerce. The London firm is behind GrapheneHC, a platform which delivers personalised merchandising to users on eCommerce stores as well as intelligent product search.

Parcelly (London), Shopblocks (Stockport), cinch (Farnham), Unmade (London) and Airbox Fulfilment (London) make up the top 10.

ZigZag Global (London), a platform to manage the process of product returns, is 12th. Providing a retailer-branded returns portal, the SaaS software allows them to consolidate, resell or refulfil products to another customer.

In 13th is Dropit (London), an AI-powered platform supplying retailers full systems visibility, actionable insights & automated omnichannel solutions.

“We’re excited to see so many great businesses in BusinessCloud’s 2023 RetailTech 50,” said Andy Nicol, MD of Sputnik Digital.
