BusinessCloud can reveal its MediaTech 50 innovation ranking for 2024.

Readers of the online technology publication and an expert judging panel have together decided the 50 companies blazing a technology trail in media.

The MediaTech 50 – supported by digital transformation experts Sputnik Digital – celebrates businesses of all sizes creating original technology to transform production and delivery of media and the arts – from virtual worlds to music, podcasts, radio, video, film and the written word.

London-headquartered Audoo, behind AI-powered monitoring tech for music royalties, tops the ranking. Founded by Ryan Edwards and backed by angels including Sir Elton John, Sir Paul McCartney and Björn Ulvaeus of Abba, its Audoo Audio Meters™ identify when music is being played in commercial spaces.

Vulse, based in Manchester, is second. A LinkedIn content creator and scheduling tool for small businesses, it aims to amplify personal brands, grow company pages, generate engaging content and reveal critical post analytics.

CGHero, Lifescore and AudioStack complete the top five.

Sum Vivas, which produces AI-integrated digital humans, crashed into the top 10 for 2024. The Liverpool firm’s personable, familiar-looking characters offer communication skills that engage seamlessly with teams and customers.
