Digital agency Studio Mashbo will now be known as Mashbo after adding cloud-based software and app development to its offering.

The Liverpool-based firm will continue to provide web development services alongside its drive to support businesses and organisations working in the professional services and manufacturing sectors with the move to Industry 4.0 and digital automation.

“Our business is now five years old and we are fine-tuning our focus,” said Mashbo co-founder Gavin Sherratt.

“Mashbo’s culture is based around ensuring that the co-founders and the team are enjoying themselves and enjoying their work.

“The investment into our processes is now paying dividends, and we have the ability to be reactive to our clients’ needs and requirements. We are a small, aligned agency that can tackle digital challenges that are presented to us.

“Our service offering is more than just website development. We’re gaining a growing track record in cloud-based software and app development, as well as working in VR.

“This is enhancing our R&D skills, which in turn is giving our clients the benefit of working with a team who continually show progressive adaptive learning.

“We are also looking to support industry experts from different sectors with digital solution commercialisation, which has seen us invest skills for equity into new start-up and spin out businesses.”

The company has engaged with several start-ups over the last 12 months which will see them launch two new products, which they have co-founded with industry experts in edtech and proptech.

This has seen the agency spending more R&D time working with VR content management delivery systems and automating workflow management within a commercial working environment.

Mashbo’s client base currently includes SwissRE, NBC Universal, Liverpool Football Club, Manx Telecom and soon to be launched investment projects VR16 and Property Cloud.
