The final pitch on Dragons’ Den tonight will be from two London founders aiming to meet all your pickling needs.

Sylt Pickling was founded in 2021 by friends and former colleagues Ash Ringhus and Temi Olugbenga.

They set out to solve what they deemed to be a huge problem: how long it took to pickle things at home, due to the time it took to boil and cool down the vinegar-based solution.

And with ready-pickled produce heavily restricted, they set out to turn any fruit or veg into delicious homemade pickles.

The flavours they sell include balsamic & basil; juniper & sage; orange, ginger & fennel; apple & cinnamon; dill & mustard; and scotch bonnet & lemon.

They also offer subscriptions; pickling workshops; and, alongside the online business, are stocked in 38 UK stores – plus others in Amsterdam and Croatia!

Ash’s professional background is in media, having worked for several years as a foreign correspondent for his local Norwegian newspaper.

Temi is the hub of commercial know-how, with his previous role being commercial director at the Ladder Group. He is also a mentor and trustee of Springboard’s National Anti Racism Steering Committee, and an avid music maker.

Will they find themselves in a pickle in the Den tonight?

Episode 13 of series 23 sees the return of guest judge Jenna Meek alongside regular Dragons Peter Jones, Touker Suleyman, Deborah Meaden and Steven Bartlett.

The other businesses pitching in the Den tonight are Lucy & Lola, PEEQUAL and Rite Tackle.
