A Manchester-based business which allows people and companies to start their own radio station has had a major website redesign.
All-in-one platform Radio.co provides tools for users to set up and run their own radio station direct from the cloud.
The company’s clients include Vice, Primavera Sound, Soho Radio, Unicef, One Ocean FM and Cult Records.
Strategic design agency BGN have just completed the design and build for Radio.co’s new website.
The news comes shortly after Radio.co received £300k in investment from the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund.
“We approached BGN in August 2017 and the brief we sent them was to take our existing brand and elevate it,” said Radio.co founder James Mulvany.
“Since launch in April, we have received a very positive response from customers to the updates, which also included a revamp of the products UI by our internal team following the brand guidelines set by BGN.”
BGN, based at Manchester’s modern community NEO owned by Bruntwood, also worked on Radio.co’s tone of voice and improved user flow.
“Radio.co has been such an exciting and rewarding project to work on,” said BGN creative director and co-founder David Newton.
“Radio.co page views have increased by an average of 10,000 per day – an improvement in performance which has had the knock-on effect of decreasing Radio.co’s bounce rate by about 30 per cent.”
The news follows a successful first year in business for BGN, which saw the company turn over £380,000.
Since forming in April 2017 BGN has also worked with a raft of brands across several sectors including Carlsberg, Brand Attic, V1BE, Lancashire Farm, Accent Housing and Natural Therapy London.
