Blume, one of the UK’s leading customer acquisition specialists for the legal sector, has appointed Dan Mitchell as product owner.
With more than 10 years’ experience in product leadership roles, Mitchell brings a wealth of industry knowledge to the business, having worked in a series of senior strategic and project roles with some leading global brands.
Most recently, he was product manager at top 10 digital retailer N Brown, where he was instrumental in creating a flagship product squad by reenergising and refocusing the team and its approach to data models and products.
Prior to this, Mitchell spent six years at award-winning travel management company TAG, delivering and driving web-based applications and products into the business, and navigating through the Covid pandemic.
During this time, he spent eight months in Sydney to lead the implementation of new tech architecture, which involved consolidating three globally recognised technologies.
Mitchell will play an active role in developing Blume’s product roadmap, working closely with Rob Gough, director of development.
On joining Blume, Mitchell said: “I’ve watched the incredible growth Blume has experienced in the past 18 months and believe this is a fantastic opportunity to join at a time when we are investing significantly in our tech capabilities to deliver even higher quality data to our clients and improve internal processes.
“I can’t wait to use my expertise to drive forward plans and build on the great work already started by the fantastic team.”
Rob Gough, Blume’s director of development said: “As the business evolves and we introduce new products, we need to keep ahead of the changing needs of our clients and our internal teams, and develop the most cost effective and efficient solutions possible.
“Dan’s experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders, and his track record in all areas of the product process will be invaluable to Blume. We are delighted to have him on board and are excited to see how he makes this role his own.”
West Didsbury-based Blume rebranded from mmadigital and was acquired in 2022 by private equity house Sun European Partners.
