North West-based advertising agency Freedom Media Group has won four new clients worth more than £600,000 a year and expanded its US footprint.

The company has worked with the likes of Ray Winstone, David Jason and Robbie Williams and reported record turnover of £2.5m for the year to the end of March 2023 – up from £900,000 in the previous 12 months.

Freedom is now targeting growth to £4.2m in 2023-24 and has just secured four new clients – Boutique Hotel Group; American-based TAC US; the National Residential Landlords Association (NRLA); and Cheshire Removals.

Founder Daniel Thompson, who spent nearly nine years at media giant Global as commercial director in the North, said: “We’re delighted to start the new financial year by winning four fantastic but very different clients.

“Our team is increasingly delivering in North America and we are delighted to be working with US-based TAC US, who specialise in helping US citizens navigate the complex world of vacation ownership.

“The campaign is already running across New York and Connecticut with the audio and digital activity ready to launch across the whole continental USA from early summer.”
