Online tutoring platform MyTutor has announced the appointment of two new senior level positions to its leadership team.
Geoff Stead and Jamie Wadhams join as chief product officer and chief operating officer, respectively.
London-headquartered MyTutor is one of the largest providers of the government-backed National Tutoring Programme.
Stead has held senior positions in the digital learning space – both in the UK and USA – for 20 years. He most recently led the product vision, development and strategy as CPO at language learning platform Babbel.
As more governments back online tutoring globally, he will lead the organisation into the next stage of its product vision, building the tools and teams needed to grow overseas.
New to the education sector, Wadhams will lead on operations, finance, people and legal. Before joining MyTutor, he held the position of COO at SportPursuit, an online marketplace for sporting and outdoor products.
He has also held senior operations positions at Sky, the BBC and AEG.
