IFB2016 will include a week-long Creative and Digital Week between June 26-July 1, reflecting the importance of the sector to the UK economy.
Nowhere is technology more important to the economy than the North and there’s growing calls from entrepreneurs for technology to underpin the Northern Powerhouse.
Liverpool, Manchester, Leeds and Newcastle have thriving digital and tech sectors but what does the wider North need to do next?
That will be one of the themes of our ‘Tech in the Northern Powerhouse’ early evening event.
Held jointly by BusinessCloud and The Edge and sponsored by Liverpool City Council and KPMG, the event will hear from experts and entrepreneurs from across the region.
Tech in the Northern Powerhouse will be held at Oh Me Oh My, Liverpool and will be chaired by the new BusinessCloud editor and award-winning journalist Chris Maguire.
