Home entertainment and hospitality platform Hometainment has raised £390,000 via a Crowdcube campaign.
The crowdfunding exceeded its minimum target of £350,000 with 200 investors, giving the platform a pre-money valuation of £3,000,000.
Launched in June 2021, Hometainment is aiming to revolutionise the home entertainment experience by bringing quality hospitality experiences into people’s homes at an affordable price.
The London startup operates within the M25 by providing a selection of hosts to come into your home from as little as £250, including Michelin star private chefs, international mixologists, Café del Mar DJs, children’s entertainers and even expert tarot card readers.
Moneybox is Crowdcube’s most popular crowdfunding campaign this year
Hometainment has recently secured agreements with leading VIP concierge companies such as Quintessentially and Velocity Black, as well as high-end serviced apartment groups including Cheval Collection, Living Rooms and Greystar.
The funding will be used to scale in both London and abroad, as well as expand its offering of new experiences.
Speaking on the funding round, co-founder Antoine Melon, said: “We are very proud to have completed and overfunded our Crowdcube campaign.
“To complete our crowdfunding after just a year of operation is a great achievement. It sanctions a year of hard work from all the people who have supported us and believed in us.”
Melon has more than 25 years of experience in opening and running restaurants and hotels around the world, including Six Senses, Mandarin Oriental and Conran Restaurants.
