Leading UK HealthTech company bioniq, the company behind the world’s most personalised nutritional supplements, has acquired interactive fitness mirror business VAHA.
The acquisition is part of bioniq’s expansion plan and strengthens its position as the most innovative health subscription in Europe and the Middle East.
Under the acquisition, VAHA will become part of the bioniq global platform enhancing the team’s offering of tailor-made health and wellness services.
Currently available across eight countries in the EMEA, London-headquartered bioniq plans to expand into four more countries including the USA by the end of 2023.
Founded in 2019, bioniq offers a truly 360 approach to each member’s health, starting with a biochemical analysis, including a comprehensive 50-parameter blood test, before bioniq’s algorithm prescribes the correct nutritional formula.
Now incorporating VAHA, Europe’s largest and leading connected fitness offering, the AI driven state-of-the-art home fitness technology accesses millions of workout-related data points, providing bioniq members with personalised home training and biomechanical analysis for further insight into their body’s physical capabilities.
Boasting one of the largest researched databases in the world, bioniq partners with leading institutions, London Global Practice, King’s College Hospital and Lanserhof, and global VC funds including HV Capital, Rocket Internet, Unbound Venture, Porsche Ventures and TQ Ventures.
