IT company KMD has finalised the purchase of fellow Danish firm In2media with the help of tech investment banking firm GP Bullhound.
In2media group consists of three agencies, In2media, Insilico and Baby, and will continue as an independent unit within KMD.
In2media group provides technological, digital and creative skillsets to meet the growing demand for digital transformation services.
As an integral part of KMD’s future strategy, In2media group is expected to employ more than 200 top tier consultants and developers at year-end.
“By teaming up with Denmark’s largest IT company, while maintaining our independence, we get the best possible opportunities to further develop what we have created over the last ten years,” said Tim Frank Andersen, chairman of In2media group.
“GP Bullhound’s deep sector expertise and high degree of professionalism have been key factors in identifying and realising this opportunity.”
Sven Raeymaekers, partner at GP Bullhound, commented: “We are delighted to have advised In2media group on this transaction.
“Linking up with KMD will allow the team to cement its position as one of the leading Digital Transformation consultancies in Denmark, while continuing to grow its footprint across the Nordics.”
This represents GP Bullhound’s 7th transaction in Denmark and the completion of GP Bullhound’s 11th transaction in 2017.
