Identity data intelligence specialist GBG is celebrating ‘another good year’ of growth after posting its annual results.

The AIM-listed company said revenue for the year ended March 2019 was £143.5 million, up 20 per cent from its 2018 figures.

GBG is headquartered in Chester and employs over 800 people across 18 countries.

The company highlights the launch of its location solution brand Loqate and a shift to cloud tech as key to its latest results, which follow a strong 2017/2018.

Its latest acquisitions, IDology and VIX Verify, were both said to be performing in line with expectations.

“The continued investment in our three core solutions led to exciting product innovation and deeper geographical reach,” said CEO Chris Clark.

“Our strong growth and track record of delivery is a testament to our commitment to customer value and the expansion of our global presence through organic developments and strategic acquisitions.

“We remain committed to developing world class products and making the most of the significant market opportunities ahead.

“As a global business, with a well-defined strategy, we are confident in our future growth and our ambition to become the leading provider of identity data intelligence solutions.”

Late last year the company introduced two new senior hires to lead the company through its next phase of product and technology innovation.
