Digital agency Extravision is the latest exciting newcomer to join Manchester’s MediaCityUK, with an office move to creative and tech hub, Tomorrow.

The business is planning a series of new recruits across sales, development and design, and hopes the new office will provide a springboard for expansion.

Extravision is a digital agency offering a full range of email marketing services along with application design and development.

Specialising in creative digital campaigns for lead generation, the company started out as a small email service provider in 2004 and quickly established itself as an email agency offering cutting-edge technology to clients.

With accounts in sectors including healthcare, retail, hospitality and communication, Extravision has delivered digital campaigns for the likes of EE, BT, Barburrito, Greene King, The NHS and Farrow & Ball.

“As a digital and creative agency, we wanted to be in a technology-led environment and the Tomorrow building is a perfect fit,” said Simon Hill from Extravision.

“We have big plans for growth over the next few months and our new office at MediaCityUK is crucial to this – it’s a great, unique location with strong transport links, a good social life and it’s a great place to bring clients.

“We’re very excited to be joining the community of creatives who are already here.”

MediaCityUK is currently home to BBC North, ITV, Coronation Street, SIS LIVE, the University of Salford, dock10 and over 250 creative, media and tech businesses.

Extravision’s move comes at a busy time for MediaCityUK, as cereal and snacks giant Kellogg’s has just announced it will be moving its UK headquarters to MediaCityUK, comprising three floors in Orange and 420 staff.

New venues, The Botanist and The Alchemist are both soon to be opening and construction is underway for Lightbox, a luxury apartment scheme.

“It’s fantastic to see ambitious companies like Extravision increasing their exposure in the digital market and there is no better place than MediaCityUK to help them achieve this,” said Lynn Haime, asset manager at MediaCityUK.

“Residing alongside major market players and like-minded creatives in similar industries has huge business benefits and we are seeing more and more companies thrive and expand in this way.

“We are looking forward to seeing what happens next.”

Tomorrow is MediaCityUK’s latest innovation space for creative and tech companies. Already home to a range of agencies including Fuzzy Duck Creative, Audio Always, Stream, ZEAL and Carbon Creative, a limited amount of space is still available.

Quirky co-working space, Ziferblat, where visitors pay per minute and everything inside is free, is a feature on the ground floor and mezzanine level, and is ideal for freelancers and relaxed meetings, as well as formal events and conferences.
