A new study conducted suggests that technology entrepreneurs turn their millions into billions nearly twice as fast as the average business leader.
The report suggests that, on average, it takes the average business leader 14 years to make the jump from millionaire to billionaire.
In the tech industry that average quickens to 7.3 years, says Betway Insider.
The betting tips blog researched the hundred highest earners from the Forbes 2018 edition of ‘The World’s Billionaires’ list to compile the results.
The research also suggests that whilst a degree is not essential to reach billionaire status, two thirds of the billionaires had a achieved a degree before beginning their career.
Of those with a degree, a qualification in engineering from Harvard University was found to be the most common qualification amongst the hundred billionaires studied.
