DeGould, the automated vehicle inspection expert, announces the growth of its expert team with eight new appointments across the machine learning, artificial intelligence and engineering sectors.
The growth follows a strong six months for DeGould, with the appointment of Mathew Holloway as CEO at the beginning of the year marking the starting point of scaleup growth for the company.
Since then, investment from the prestigious Innovate UK grant has accelerated growth as DeGould – ninth on our TransportTech 50 ranking – invests in its expertise to develop its revolutionary automated vehicle inspection systems.

The eight new appointments include a principal cloud engineer, senior software tester, senior embedded systems engineer, machine learning engineer, mechanical design engineer, electrical engineer and HR coordinator.
“Since I joined DeGould one of my goals was to scale the company through growing and investing in the team,” said Holloway.
“I’m thrilled to see our expertise being developed even further and these eight appointments will be key for us as we continue to deliver innovation to our customers.”

With further expansion planned for the next six months, DeGould is hiring for multiple roles across engineering, product development, sales, and software development.
Holloway added: “We have more exciting plans for the rest of this year, including expanding into our fourth continent, South Africa, as well as further developments to our vehicle inspection solutions.
