The major cryptocurrency coins gained in value – with one exception – as the market grew significantly in the last 24 hours.
Binance Coin (BNB) was the biggest winner, adding 6% to $389 at the time of writing (7am UK) as it continued its recent resurgence. Nevertheless it stands 8% down in a week.
Market leader Bitcoin (BTC) gained 3% to return above $37,250. It remains 4% down in a week.
Avalanche (AVAX) reached $65.50 with a 5% climb. It is 14% down over seven days.
Ethereum (ETH), the world’s second most valuable coin, jumped 2% to $2,450 and is 14% down in a week.
Polkadot (DOT) is at $18.29, up 4% in the last 24 hours and 18% down over seven days.
Solana (SOL) gained 5% to $92 but is 26% lower than its price last Friday.
Ripple (XRP) added 1% to sit at 61 cents and is 12% down in a week, while Cardano (ADA) also grew 1%, leaving it at $1.04 and 15% down over seven days.

Terra (LUNA) was the only major to fall, dropping 6% to $54. It is 31% down in a week.
The overall market cap of the almost 17,200 coins is at $1.69 trillion, up 4.2% in the last 24 hours.
