Terra (LUNA) was the only major cryptocurrency coin to lose value in the last 24 hours.
The year’s stellar performer dropped 6% to almost $88 at the time of writing (7am UK). LUNA is 8% lower than its price a week ago.
Market leader Bitcoin (BTC) climbed 2% to around $39,450. BTC is 5% down in a week.
Avalanche (AVAX) regained the 3% it had lost in the previous 24-hour period to return above $69. It is 12% down over seven days.
Meme coin Dogecoin (DOGE) also added 3% to top 11 cents yet is 12% down in a week.
Ethereum (ETH) was another coin to gain 3% to around $2,650 yet its seven-day price is down 2%.
Polkadot (DOT) was up 4% to $18.18 and is 3% up on its price last Wednesday morning.
A 1% gain for Binance Coin (BNB) leaves it at $372 with a seven-day price down 6%.
Solana (SOL) rose 3% to around $82.50, leaving it 6% down over the course of seven days, while Cardano (ADA) gained 1% to above 80c and is 4% down in a week.
Ripple (XRP) remained around 76 cents. That leaves it 3% up over seven days.
The overall market cap of the more than 18,200 coins is at $1.76 trillion, a 1.6% increase in the last 24 hours.
