Cardano (ADA) and Polkadot (DOT) both gained 4% in value in the last 24 hours despite an overall market fall.

ADA had moved above 97 cents at the time of writing (7am UK) and is 21% up over the course of seven days, while DOT is at $20.41 and 12% up in a week.

Solana (SOL) gained 1% to top $91 and is 11% up in a week.

In contrast, Avalanche (AVAX) dropped 3% towards $85 – yet is 23% higher than its price a week ago.

Ethereum (ETH) lost 1% and remains just below $3,000, with a seven-day price up 12%.

Ripple (XRP) fell 2% to 83c, which leaves it 8% up over seven days.

Market leader Bitcoin (BTC) was down slightly and stands around $42,150. BTC is 7% up in a week.

Binance Coin (BNB) grew slightly to $404 and is 9% up over seven days.

Meme coin Dogecoin (DOGE) remains above 12c despite a slight drop and is 8% up on its price last Wednesday morning.

Terra (LUNA) dropped 1% for a second consecutive day to stand at $93.04. It is up 5% on its price seven days ago.

The overall market cap of the almost 18,400 coins is at $1.91 trillion, an decrease of 0.2% in the last 24 hours.
