Cloud computing group’s CFO to retire

The finance boss of Beeks Financial Cloud Group is to retire at the end of the year.

Simon Goulding is chief financial officer at the cloud computing and connectivity provider for financial markets and will also announce his decision to retire as a director of the company at its next AGM on October 24th.

Goulding was previously a consultant to the company and became full-time CFO in December 2015 to manage the company’s IPO process.

Beeks in headquartered in Glasgow and also has a presence in Japan and the United States.

Group financial controller Fraser McDonald, who was also key to the company’s float in November last year, will be appointed as CFO and to the board of the company.

Mark Cubitt, chairman of Beeks Financial Cloud, said: “Fraser contributed greatly to the success of the company’s IPO last year and we have been delighted with his contribution to the business since Beeks joined AIM.

“We are very pleased to welcome him to the board of the company.

“We would like to thank Simon for his leadership of the finance team over the last few years and we are benefiting from the robust structures he has put in place.

“We wish him all the best for his future endeavours.”
