Campus North is tackling the tech sector’s lack of female voices with a new programme to support women in digital.
Tech for Life – the organisation’s education arm – is delivering the programme for those who want to improve their skills, become more confident and progress in their career.
Based in Newcastle, the scheme was first announced on International Women’s Day last month.
Lyndsey Britton, Campus North and Tech for Life co-founder, told Bdaily: “Leading Ladies for Life is designed specifically for women in the tech and digital sector and will help improve their skills and confidence, offer learning from others and give them actions they can take back to implement in their workplace.“
She added: “As they become role models and leaders they can also inspire other female colleagues too.”
