Appointments

London-based technology provider Charterhouse Group has appointed Mike Wardell as its new CEO.

The company, which is behind a portfolio of high-growth IT, collaboration and cybersecurity brands, has over 200 employees across offices in London, Peterborough and Northampton, supporting around 2,000 customers in both the public and private sectors.

Wardell, who most recently spent 18 months in a leadership role at Business Systems, brings over 20 years of experience leading technology businesses.

His leadership saw the spin-out of Wordwatch, now a leading standalone RegTech software business. He will remain involved at Business Systems as executive chairman.

Prior to Business Systems, Wardell served as CEO of Giacom, where he made the business into a thriving cloud marketplace and delivered recurring revenue growth in the triple and double digits for multiple years.
