A retail investment education platform has raised £2.2 million pre-seed funding.
Beurzbyte, based in London, has built a video-led educational investment marketplace.
The app has two elements: Beurzbyte Learn and Beurzbyte Discover. These teach users about investing and allow them to discover opportunities respectively.
The aim is for retail investors to discover opportunities based on their interests and to support and improve wealth creation globally.
Founded by Pedram Parhizkari and Niels Soete, the funding – from undisclosed angel investors – will be used to develop the platform and create in-house content.
