Manchester-based baby tech firm, Aibytech, has raised £1.2m from an investment group based in Dubai.

The company will be using the investment to fund its product range and build out its commercial team, ready for launch at the end of the year.

Aibytech is dedicated to transforming the world of baby technology through the development of state-of-the-art, innovative products that enhance the lives of parents, carers and children.

Its range of baby-tech products is designed to provide convenience, safety and seamless integration into the modern parenting journey.

Its artificial intelligence (AI) camera technology is seamlessly integrated into each of its products, providing parents or carers with live updates on their child’s development and needs.

Aibytech founder and chairman Stephen Senior said:  “Any founder who has been through the raising process knows how much time and energy this takes from you.

“It’s a consuming part of the journey; time-consuming, energy-consuming and mentally consuming. We are ecstatic to have achieved our funding goal!

“A special thank you goes out to our investors who saw the potential in Aibytech and believed in our team.

“We are committed to delivering on our promises and taking Aibytech to new heights and the forefront of baby tech monitoring.”

Senior said they’d receive significant interest from distributors to stock our baby product range globally.

“This investment will fuel the production of our baby products blended with our bespoke technology to track health, well-being as well as the baby’s personal development,” he added.

“We will also be strengthening our sales team in preparation for our launch.

“We look forward to visiting our manufacturing partners in China at the end of the month to see how our products are progressing, which our fantastic team has designed and engineered.

“None of this would be possible without the help of our network, colleagues and friends. We have had overwhelming support, and I want to thank everyone that has liked our posts, shared our pitch deck and believed in our project. We’re all excited to see what happens in the next 12 months.”

Aibytech recently appointed former Dyson EMEA president, Phil Parsons (pictured), as its CEO.

Previously European and Middle East president at Dyson, Parsons has a wealth of technology and engineering experience.
