UK Managed Service Provider Atlas Cloud, which specialises in managed cloud services and cloud hosting solutions, has announced the appointment of Nigel Redwood as Non-Executive Chairman.
The former CEO of Shropshire-based competitor Nasstar joins the company with 17 years’ board level experience leading managed service providers of Desktop-as-a-Service and Hosted Desktop solutions.
Redwood left Nasstar this year, following an almost £80m acquisition by converged ICT Service provider GCI.
As Chairman, Redwood will use his industry experience to mentor Atlas Cloud’s leadership in fulfilling the company’s five-year business plan.
He will work CEO Pete Watson and senior team to offer expertise for delivering upon strategic objectives in key target markets.
His appointment follows the appointment of its first Chief Financial Officer, Michael Conn in late 2019 and a £2m funding in March 2020.
