Suleyman also offers the £10,000… for 5%!

He’s also offering a working space next to his office.

Bartlett and Jones whisper about that one.

Two offers

Published: October 23, 2025 at 8:42 pm

Success is “heavily based on fortune and hitting zeitgeist”. He’s OUT.

Meaden has connections in this industry – including the founder of MumsNet – and offers her the £10,000 for the 1%!

Davies is also impressed and says she will match Meaden’s offer.

Tough industry to crack

There is a big package which can be sold into schools and other organisations.

Reedah says each of the five apps – including one focused on climate education – will also be made available to retail customers on the App Store.

Jones has a strong background in this – advising government, for example – and says the only way this can really succeed is to become embedded in the National Curriculum. He’s OUT.

Pre-revenue

Published: October 23, 2025 at 8:36 pm

Reedah has won several Innovate UK grants, has funding including from ‘super angels’ in the gaming industry, and put in £400k of her own cash into the business.

“It’s difficult to make money from schools,” says Bartlett, who questions the business model.

Reedah admits that they are pre-revenue.

Touker steps up

Published: October 23, 2025 at 8:34 pm

London-based Reedah says her product condenses 12 weeks of learning into a few hours of gameplay.

She is seeking £10,000 for 1% of her business.

Suleyman steps up to have a go on the gam, which seems to be a robot running around.

Firing up education

Published: October 23, 2025 at 8:31 pm

Reedah El-Saie steps into the Den with Brainspark Games, an educational app helping children learn through play.

Launched in 2019, the platform creates fun, curriculum-aligned games for ages 7 to 13, covering subjects like maths, English, science, climate, languages and art.

Available on both iOS and Android, the app aims to make learning interactive and engaging for young users.

Over and out

Published: October 23, 2025 at 8:30 pm

“I think you’ve got a real chance of doing this,” says Jones.

However he can’t join her on the journey and is also OUT. But he’s very complimentary and polite.

Only one left…

Published: October 23, 2025 at 8:28 pm

Bartlett is also OUT.

Meaden disagrees with Suleyman and thinks she is right to give studios the opportunity to showcase their creativity on the product. But she is also OUT.

Davies doesn’t see it as an attractive investment proposition either. She’s OUT.

USP?

Published: October 23, 2025 at 8:27 pm

Fiona says her unique selling point is the ability to give studios the ability to put their own designs on the bottles.

However Suleyman says she should be focused on telling people simply: “You need this to look after your tattoos.”

He’s OUT.

Lifestyle business

Published: October 23, 2025 at 8:23 pm

Apparently 40% of millennials and Gen Z hae a tattoo – and they don’t stop at one.

Fiona also has a Scottish giftware business which enabled her to work from home when raising her children. That is generating £180,000 annual turnover, but she says this can be bigger as the other business is a ‘lifestyle business’.

A load of tat?

Published: October 23, 2025 at 8:19 pm

Fiona, from Stirling in Scotland, is looking for £60,000 for 15% of her business.

She’s sold £20,000 of product so far and would like to take it into the gifting market.

They are currently (at the time of filming) working with the Superdrug website and is in conversations with WH SMith Retail about their airport outlets.

From body art to business art

Published: October 23, 2025 at 8:16 pm

Next up is Fiona Ritchie, creator of a vegan tattoo balm designed to soothe and protect both new and existing tattoos.

The Ink Balm was founded in 2023 and offers natural skincare products made from vegan oils and butters to help heal tattooed skin, reduce irritation and maintain colour vibrancy.

Each travel-sized, eco-friendly tin features artwork by a UK tattoo artist.

Howay the lass

Published: October 23, 2025 at 8:14 pm

“It’s a business of passion and community, but it isn’t an investment.” Meaden is OUT.

“That just leaves the local lass,” says Sara Davies. “Howay!”

However she is also OUT.

Meanie Meaden

Published: October 23, 2025 at 8:13 pm

Deborah Meaden, who once put on wrestling matches in her holiday parks, says there is no demand for this.

Steven Bartlett seems to agree – he watched it as a kid with his brothers, but moved on to boxing and UFC when he grew up.

Bartlett is OUT.

Jones and Suleyman are also OUT – they agree that they can’t see a way to making any money from it.

Side hustle

Published: October 23, 2025 at 8:08 pm

Andrew is a graphic designer and consultant for another wrestling promotion – and despite turning a profit, is not currently paying himself anything from this business.

Peter Jones says a business like this needs a name like ‘The Rock’ to bring in the punters… might be aiming a bit high there.

It’s on!

Published: October 23, 2025 at 8:05 pm

The ‘heel’ forces his way through the lift doors and a fight ensues!

Andrew, who hails from the North East, is looking for £60,000 for a 25% share in his company.

Fighting for investment

Published: October 23, 2025 at 8:03 pm

Kicking off the night is entrepreneur Andrew Bowers, who is turning the Den into a wrestling ring as he pitches North Wrestling – his live pro-wrestling events company.

Founded in 2016, the business hosts independent wrestling shows across the North East, combining high-energy entertainment with in-ring action.

The events showcase both emerging UK talent and international stars, with some performers having gone on to appear in WWE.
