The latest series of Dragons’ Den is set for episode 4 tonight as guest judge Tinie Tempah makes his debut.
Tinie burst onto the music scene in 2010 with the UK number-one single Pass Out, which was closely followed by a string of hugely successful albums and multiple award wins. In 2007 he co-founded record label Disturbing London; and later, he launched Imhotep, a publishing company / creative agency involved in music.
In 2022, Tinie launched RAPS—a virtual soul food brand alongside Chef Hasan Semay (Big Has) and the food incubator Kitchen Ventures. You can check out his other investments – including one which failed – and those of other notable artists here.
The rapper joins Peter Jones, Deborah Meaden, Steven Bartlett and Touker Suleyman as they put another set of business hopefuls to the test.
In this episode, pitches include a cookie business founded by two brothers, a mission-led sports events company, an online business with products for hand function and a sea moss-powered wellness brand.

Jnck Bakery
The first to pitch will be brothers Alex and Sean Brassill, co-founders of Jnck Bakery who formerly worked as directors at THG.
Based in Wokingham, it sold chewy cookies made using pea protein, prebiotic fibre and its own low-sugar chocolate.
The high-protein, low-sugar cookie brand – which launched in 2023 – entered voluntary liquidation late last year due to ‘escalating’ debts of more than £250,000.
The brothers are now preparing to launch Lyte On, which is described as a ‘no bullshit electrolyte company’, while Sean has a new role at tech firm Sona.
Business Fives
Second to pitch is Business Fives founder John McClarey.
Based in Edinburgh, the startup encourages businesses to enter teams into five-a-side football tournaments, golf days and mixed touch rugby events.
Founded in 2016, it has hosted events across the UK and Ireland and donates 10% of its revenue to charity alongside the money raised by teams.
Active Hands Company
Third in the den is Active Hands Company founder Rob Smith and his business development manager Jo Gumbley.
Based near Solihull in the West Midlands and launched in 2007, the firm has developed adaptive gripping aids to help people with reduced hand function live more independently.
Smith had the idea in the late 1990s after he experienced difficulties following a spinal cord injury.
Health & Holistics
The closing pitch comes from Rome Haghighat, founder of Health and Holistics.
The wellness brand was launched in 2024 to sell supplements made from sea moss, a red algae from the Caribbean rich in nutrients, as well as shilajit, turmeric, ginger, bladderwrack, burdock, spirulina and ashwagandha.
Products include gels and capsules for beauty, detox and workouts, as well as soaps.
