A staple in the Den these days, it is almost surprising to viewers that Deborah Meaden has not in fact been an ever-present on the BBC show.
The business leader and best-selling author joined the show in 2006 (series 3) and is known for her avid interest in environmental matters.
Over time, she has developed a reputation for being a no-nonsense and sometimes fierce Dragon, but Sibstar CEO Jayne Sibley told BusinessCloud how grateful she has been for Meaden’s mentorship since she invested in her company.
Meaden is one of Britain’s most iconic and recognisable businesswomen and has pledged to invest over £6m since she became a Dragon. Notable investments include Magic Whiteboard, Rehook and The Secret Garden Glamping.
