A North East tech firm which helped pubs to make money from their TV screens has entered liquidation.

Screenreach Interactive, which was based in Newcastle but is registered in Morpeth, Northumberland, allowed hospitality venues to sell third-party advertising on screens.

The firm’s Screach app also allowed them to stream sports events without a cable or satellite connection.

Founded in 2009 by Paul Rawlings, since 2017 the business had been led by CEO Robert Rawlinson (pictured).

His LinkedIn profile shows that he left the position in December 2024.

The company, which raised $2m in 2021 for global expansion, boasted clients in 157 countries. That funding came from high-net-worth individuals, Hotspur Capital and the British Business Bank’s Future Fund.

Following a winding up petition issued last year by UK FF Nominees Limited, a High Court judge has now ordered that the firm be wound up.

UK FF Nominees was behind loans from the British Business Bank’s Future Fund, which supported companies through COVID.
