Manufacturing leaders, spare parts innovators and industry experts will gather virtually for Europe’s premier event on spare parts profitability on 28th November.
The Virtual Academy, themed ‘Changing It Up — New Ways and Business Models for Spare Parts Profitability’, aims to equip manufacturers with strategies to navigate challenges such as parts shortages, increased customer demands and rapid technological advancements.
The academy focuses on new business models that drive value and growth in the spare parts sector. Attendees can expect insights on value-based pricing, digitisation, eCommerce, optimised inventory management and innovative technologies.
A key highlight of the event will be a presentation from Sam Burgess (pictured), CEO and founder of Partful, which led our FactoryTech 50 ranking for the past two years. Partful is at the forefront of 3D interactive technology in the manufacturing sector.
With over 15 years in the specialist vehicle manufacturing and aftersales sector, Burgess will lead a session alongside director of partnerships Rob Butler entitled ‘Using 3D Interactive Technology to Fuel Your Aftersales’.
His insights will demonstrate how 3D technology can enhance Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) aftersales processes, improving parts identification, customer support, and product supportability.
“It’s crucial for OEMs to reevaluate their aftersales processes, as a strong aftersales approach not only enhances customer satisfaction but also fosters brand loyalty and drives long-term success in an increasingly competitive market,” said Burgess.
Attendees will gain practical insights on:
• Maximising the Value of Your Installed Base: Explore how transforming your service organisation can help you unlock the potential of your installed equipment to enhance service offerings, increase efficiency, and deliver more value to your customers.
• Leveraging 3D Interactive Technology for Aftersales Success: Discover how 3D interactive technology can revolutionise the way manufacturers manage their aftersales processes, making it easier to find, order, and support spare parts. Learn how this innovation can streamline product support, improve customer experience, and reduce errors.
• Developing Pricing Strategies that Drive Customer Loyalty: Understand how strategic pricing models for spare parts can not only boost revenue but also foster long-term customer loyalty.
