Manchester United has launched a new eCommerce platform on schedule which it describes as a ‘game-changer’ for the club.

Seven months ago it selected SCAYLE to power a direct-to-consumer platform which aims to enrich the shopping experience for fans.

United fans buying official club products and services online will now have greater personalisation options including ‘make your shirt’ or ‘shop by player’. The technology can support multiple languages and currencies.

“Our new eCommerce platform is a game changer in terms of the quality and reliability of service we can offer fans,” said James Holroyd, Manchester United’s chief commercial development officer.
