XYZ Works, Manchester’s new state of the art flexible workspace catering for FinTech, digital and professional service businesses, has appointed Steven Bailey as its new community manager.
Bailey will manage the new co-working space in Spinningfields, having previously held a similar role at Barclays Think Rise which houses co-working club Central Working.
Bailey will oversee the day-to-day running of XYZ Works, working closely with businesses on site to facilitate the collaborative spirit of the innovative co-working hub.
“It’s such an exciting time to join the team at XYZ Works. The position of community manager is really the perfect combination of my previous roles,” said Bailey.
“My aim is to combine the hands-on experience from my time at Central Working, Think Rise and several years’ experience in hospitality to ensure we achieve the vision of XYZ Works.
“I was particularly impressed by the ambition to create a flexible work environment which encourages people to discover new ways to learn from one another and achieve real innovation through collaboration.”
XYZ Works offers a hybrid of workspace options from co-working desks to office suites, permanent desks or private studios, all with inclusive access to meeting rooms, lounge areas, events space, break out areas and coffee bars.
The workspaces at XYZ Works will be based on the Ground Floor and Level One of the 20,000 sq ft XYZ building and is the first of a series of co-working clubs to be launched this year across the North West and London under Allied London’s All Work umbrella.
Piers Read, who is heading up XYZ Works, said: “Steven is the ideal addition to our team.
“His experience and enthusiasm for our vision for XYZ Works made him the stand out candidate for the role.
“He already has a strong network of contacts in Manchester’s tech and business scenes and has joined us armed with great ideas to ensure we provide the best experience possible for our tenants.
“We are now gearing up for our official opening event which will feature an evening packed full of entertainment, presentations, roundtable discussions and cutting-edge technology utilising all of the fantastic flexible spaces within XYZ Works.”
