The world’s largest micro mobility operator has appointed a new general manager for the UK & Ireland.
Sam Merullo will lead Lime’s efforts to scale and grow its operations across the UK following its recent launch of e-scooters in London and expansion in Greater Manchester.
A qualified lawyer with strong operational and venture experience, Merullo founded and exited his own logistics business, ScootFleet – a logistics provider for Just Eat and Deliveroo.
Lime is aiming to grow its footprint of e-scooters and e-bikes in the UK, with increased emphasis on rider safety education via training events and sessions with the AA.
“I am thrilled to have joined Lime at such an exciting stage in its growth,” said Merullo.
“The e-scooter launch in London was a great success and I look forward to ensuring as many riders as possible across the UK can enjoy green and safe journeys with Lime e-bikes and e-scooters.
