UK software company WisePay, a leading provider of payment, booking and communication systems for schools and colleges, is excited to announce it has joined forces with international market leader Community Brands.

Based in Knoxville, US, Community Brands has a suite of established education products to include student management, admissions, enrolment, financial aid, tuition management and school management services.

It is dedicated to delivering technology and software to schools and colleges so that they are empowered to achieve educational, operational and financial success.

WisePay founder Sarah Phillips said: “I am very proud of what WisePay has achieved so far.  We have developed a SaaS (Software as a Service) suite of integrated, customer friendly, easy-to-use services specifically for the education sector.

“Our products are highly respected in the market place and really do help schools and colleges to save time and money.

“Having nurtured WisePay from the beginning it was a difficult decision to sell the company, but I know that being part of this bigger family of solutions will enable us to provide a greater range of services and products to our customers and our end users. It is a very exciting time for WisePay and our customers.

“Now that WisePay is part of a larger network of best-of-breed solutions, it provides great opportunities for both our existing and new customers.

“The investment – financial and expertise – that will come with being part of a much bigger, multinational business in this sector will help take WisePay to the next level.”

Community Brands president and CEO JP Guilbault said: “We had been monitoring the progress of WisePay for some time and we felt they would be a really good fit for our existing family of education and community software businesses.

“WisePay is a great business with a really strong foothold in the sector.  We believe that there is scope for significant development and growth by bringing WisePay’s Services together with the other brands in our family to provide the very best experience for customers and for users.”

Phillips will continue as the managing director of WisePay and will work both with her existing  WisePay team, and alongside Teachers2Parents – another UK company which also recently joined forces with Community Brands – to provide a complementary suite of services to the UK education sector.

Both organisations remain UK companies and will continue to serve schools, academies, independents, multi-academy trusts and further education.
