Second to pitch in the Dragons’ Den tonight are two university friends-turned-founders presenting a flat-pack women’s urinal designed to shorten female toilet queues.
Amber Probyn and Hazel McShane, from Ross-on-Wye in Norfolk, are the founders of PEEQUAL.
Their urinals, designed to be three times faster than traditional portable toilets, were at 35 events this year – including the London Marathon, Reading and Leeds Festivals and Brighton Pride.
Over 1.25 million people have used them since 2022.
“Women queue for an hour longer than men each day at festivals. Our urinals are all about pee-equality,” says Amber.
As for the Dragons, she reveals: “They all popped a squat to see how the toilets work – which was amazing!”
Hazel adds: “I think everyone was a bit surprised when we backed our truck into the studio and started hauling out the urinal.
“We quickly announced it was freshly cleaned…”

Episode 13 of series 23 sees the return of guest judge Jenna Meek alongside regular Dragons Peter Jones, Touker Suleyman, Deborah Meaden and Steven Bartlett.
