Energy management tech company Verv has appointed Derek Wright as chief growth officer to spearhead global growth initiatives and API partnerships.

Wright has more than two decades of experience in strategic growth and business development, most notably from his tenures at major global companies, including his recent position as senior director of strategic alliances at Signify, formerly Philips Lighting.

“Verv’s technology is uniquely positioned to address the growing demand for smarter, more efficient building appliance management,” Wright said.

“The energy sector is at a critical juncture, and Verv’s ability to deliver high-speed data and future-proof buildings—whether retrofitting or new developments—makes it an indispensable tool for building operators.

“I look forward to working with the team to create strategic partnerships that will take Verv’s impact to the next level.”
